Fight Free February (FFF) was initiated by Jane Libbis of Bayside Collaborative in 2011 with the first of what is now an annual campaign. Our motivation was a desire to see all people, whether separating or not, to become better equipped to deal with (and negotiate) difficult events.
The aim of FFF is to start a movement of individuals committed to finding other ways to resolve what could turn into a fight with partners, kids, colleagues, or anyone.
We do this by asking individuals to make a pledge for a fight free month and promoting practical tips (now sourced from our Bayside Collaborative team of lawyers, psychologists and financial professionals and our network of colleagues) about different ways to resolve conflicts in lots of different settings.
We post the tips via social media and mainstream media basically as many channels and avenues as we can over the month of February.
